Dream rock four piece junodream have released their debut album ‘Pools of Colour‘ to widespread acclaim, including 4* reviews from Mojo and Dork. ‘Pools of Colour‘ is a deeply immersive listen, spanning ten tracks that are intended to pose questions on insignificance and delves into the most insidious and disconnected parts of modernity and the human condition. Musically they channel the enveloping sounds of Radiohead with the psychedelic, woozy corner of Spiritualized and prog-rock greats of the past. There’s some ambient, Slowdive-esque moments in there too. All of the creative, which has come directly from the band, is a coherent and intelligent body of art beyond just the sonics of the record. It was produced by guitarists Tom Rea and Dougal Gray (who also conceptualised the cover art), recorded between their home studio and the West London studio of co-producer Simon Byrt.
