Previously, the podcast was hosted by Dr Mya-Rose Craig (aka Birdgirl) and BBC Strictly winner and More4 presenter Hamza Yassin. Get Birding is a truly special podcast, helping to inspire a nation of birdwatchers across all types of people, encouraging access to the scientifically backed benefits of nature from your very own doorstep. Released fortnightly, the six episodes of the series will feature guests as diverse as American novelist Jonathan Franzen, behavioural ecologist Antone Martinho-Truswell, naturalist and conservationist Lucy Lapwing, and the musician Albertine Sarges, as well as regular meditations from DJ, presenter and psychotherapist Nemone Metaxas.
