Today Mike Skinner as The Streets' has shared his new single 'Wrong Answers Only', a collaboration with South London singer and rapper Master Peace. With Skinner's trademark wit and eloquent lyricism set atop big beats, the song is complimented by Master Peace's euphonious input.
Mike explains, “been playing bits of this song for a very long time and it gets a reload without anyone knowing it. It doesn’t matter whether you like it or not so just enjoy 2022 and try to get to see your relatives overseas. But we’re not always wandering round Plymouth with stragglers and bottles, I also like boxing in virtual reality”.
The single is out now on Island Records and will be followed with an official video, produced and directed by Mike himself, out next week.
Rising artist Lizzy McAlpine has announced her forthcoming album, five seconds flat, due for release on 8th April.
In conjunction with the news, McAlpine has also shared her new single 'all my ghosts', alongside an accompanying video - watch it here. She will perform the single on The Ellen DeGeneres Show later this month, following her television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! late last year.
Predominantly produced by Philip Etherington and Ehren Ebbage, the 14-track album was recorded in Oregon and Los Angeles. The album also includes collaborations with Grammy-Award winners Finneas and Jacob Collier, as well as Ben Kessler and Laura Elliot.
